I've been waiting for over a week now for Slide.com to get it's site back up and working but to no avail and Ander's fans (aka: gmas, aunties) will wait no longer. So I put up all the pics anyway and figure you can slide down the page fast if you want to make it a slide show after all.

Ander started off his evening with his favorite Sweet Potatoes.

The kid was getting snugs, hugs, and kisses all day long. (that's not a dead animal on Aly's forehead btw, those are her bangs heavily saturated with sunscreen).

Reaching for the best present ever...

Bouncy Balls! Aly gave him his first two. We let each child help him unwrap their present that they gave him. Ander was thrilled and it was every bit as adorable as you imagine.

Whack em together.... check!

Try biting them... Check!

Laugh... check!

Kennedy was next, two bigger bouncy balls.

Not enough hands!

Kohen gave Ander the biggest- a red bouncy ball, and he set about trying to keep all of the balls from rolling away and trying to hold them all at once.

Check out this cute wooden Winco truck my parents sent with Ander's present- Winco is where my Dad works so this is adorable for several reasons.

Ander has a bit of an obsession with our home phones so we were hoping this weird toy phone (the only decent toy we could find) might fill his need to play and drop and chuck phones. Writing this after the fact I can tell you that though he enjoys the toy he prefers to drop the real deal.

The cheering section- they were so excited for Ander all day long. I loved watching them watching him.

Kohen trying to make Ander laugh... he succeeded eventually :)

The phone was a big enough hit that we couldn't pry it out of Ander's hands until we swapped it for cake.

Not much surprise here but the boy was a fan of cake.

:::::: Big fan ::::::

So now most days look something like this ^. Ander quickly figured out how to drop, then throw and then kick his bouncy balls and he keeps himself properly entertained.
xoxo Ander!!!!

He is so adorable!
Oh my goodness! How cute is this?? I love the play by play with pictures. Seriously the perfect day for little Ander. He is adorable. And it IS so fun to see how excited the siblings are for him too. I really do miss him. And so does Jadyn. The other day she asked if we could go to the fabric market with Erin and Ander. :)
That last picture of him, oh my Nathan! He looks like such a blondie in the one. And can we talk about Kennedy in that one picture of Ander opening his presents? Head resting in her hands, both hands on her cheeks, looking on with that sullen expression? Reminds me of a face her mother used to make on birthday occasions...
Awwww so cute! love the cake pictures! And wow what a water park! Looks like he had a great first birthday...I still can't believe he's 1!!!!
I love imagining him trying to hold all of the balls. Don't you think we should have more than two hands?? He is darling.
