Oh no he didn't!

We were sitting down to dinner the other night, and Kennedy was proudly wearing her brand new shirt. The Clam Chowder was steaming in the bowls and as we were getting seated Kennedy somehow spilled the hot soup on her shirt, pants and all over the floor. Both Nathan and I rushed over to help a panicked Kennedy who was crying that it was hot. Nathan had her shirt away from her skin in a flash and we got her settled down and the shirt off. I tended to Kennedy (who was not harmed in the making of this blog) while Nathan hit the floor to start cleaning up. As the crisis came under control I look down to see how things are coming with the mess on the floor and what do I see? My dear sweet husband wiping up the puddle of soup with Kennedy's new shirt!!!!!!! I had this completely ghetto moment in my mind thinking, "Oh no he didn't!" But yes; yes he did. I had to put my fingers in my ears so he wouldn't see the smoke coming out of them as I asked him why?! And would he please use something else? His defense? "Well...it was already dirty." True- but just because you might get a little ding in your bumper doesn't mean you should go and total the whole car!!! His penance? I made him pose for the picture...and don't fall for the 'how was I to know?' look! Ah geez...I still love this guy!

Sounds like Nathan handled the mess appropriately. I would have done the same and felt good about doing it.

*runs for cover* ;^)

So typical. Ryan still doesn't know the difference between washclothes and rags! I give him credit for actually getting up to help out! :)

Hey, at least he offered to clean up!! Hilarious! Mark would have done the same thing... or nothing at all!! BTW, great job on your marathon, Nathan. You rock! (I'm getting nervous for mine and it's half the distance!)
